How it works
A clear process, a flat fee agreed up front, and a claim built from what your team actually did.
Your annual SR&ED claim
Intro call
We learn about your R&D, your year-end and any past claims, then send a written flat-fee quote.
Records, not paperwork
You share read-only access or exports of commits, tickets, docs and payroll. We find the projects that qualify.
Draft and review
We draft each T661 project description and the expenditure schedules. An SR&ED specialist checks every line.
Sign and file
You review and sign. The claim is filed with your T2 return, and we support you if CRA reviews it.
Pre-claim approval (Form T1322)
Since April 2026, many companies can ask CRA to confirm a project qualifies before they claim it. We make the application submission-ready and prepare your team for CRA's meeting.
Fit check
We confirm your company and projects meet CRA's conditions, and whether pre-claim approval is worth it for you.
Case number
Your company requests a case number from CRA. We tell you exactly what to ask for.
Application
We draft the technical sections and help you assemble the supporting documents CRA asks for.
Meeting and decision
We prepare your technical lead for CRA's meeting, then carry the approved project into your claim.
What's included
| Included in every engagement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Project identification and eligibility screening | Claim what qualifies, leave out what doesn't |
| T661 project descriptions (or T1322 technical sections) | Written to CRA's eligibility criteria, in your engineers' own facts |
| Expenditure schedules (salaries, proxy overhead, materials, contractors, capital) | Numbers that tie back to payroll and invoices |
| Specialist review before you sign | A second, experienced set of eyes on every project |
| Hand-off to your accountant | No disruption to your T2 filing |
| CRA review support | Help with information requests and review meetings |
| Recommendations for next year's records | Each year gets easier and better documented |
How we charge
One flat fee per engagement, agreed in writing before we start. It is based on the scope of the work (the number of projects and how complex they are), never on the size of your refund. Why we don't charge a percentage.

Frequently asked questions
How much of our engineers' time does it take?
Usually a short kickoff call and one technical interview per project. We draft from your existing records first, so interviews fill gaps instead of starting from a blank page.
What records do you need?
Whatever shows the work: commit history, tickets, design documents, test results, meeting notes and timesheets or payroll data. Read-only access or exports are enough. If records are thin, we'll tell you where the gaps are and how to fix them for next year.
Do you work with our accountant?
Yes. Many companies keep their accountant for the T2 return and financial statements. We prepare the SR&ED forms and schedules and hand them over in the format your accountant needs.
How is the fee set?
We agree a flat fee before work starts, based on the number of projects and the complexity of the claim. It doesn't change with the size of your refund. Contact us and we'll give you a written quote after a short call.
Can you help if we've already been reviewed by CRA?
Yes. We can review a past claim, help you respond to CRA's questions, or prepare you for a technical or financial review meeting. Tell us where you are on the contact form.
